GUIDELINES

1. Each nominee can nominate for a maximum of three (3) entries only.
2. Awards will be judged by esteemed industry experts based on nominations received.
3. Each nomination form is valid for 1 entry only. If you are nominating for several categories, please enter each entry separately.
4. Nomination is free of charge. Should you win, by opting for one of the winners package option, you can secure your seats at the prestigious awards dinner and gain access to a wide range of valuable benefits. 

ELIGIBILITY

Any innovative power initiative, project, or plant that:

  • has been completed either partially or fully, within the 12 calendar months of 2023
  • was completed and launched prior to 2023 but had recent innovations for further improvement 

CRITERIA FOR JUDGING

1. For entries that will be entered for the Operators of the Year categories such as Power Utility of the Year, Independent Power Producer of the Year:

  • Achievements - What are the remarkable milestones that the company has achieved?
  • Challenges & Solutions - What are the biggest challenges that the company encountered in moving the company forward? What solutions were implemented to overcome these challenges?
  • Innovation - What are the unique and innovative initiatives the company introduces to substantially boost the company's business?

2. For entries that will be entered for the Renewable Projects, Thermal Projects and Supporting Projects:

  • Uniqueness & Innovation - Has the project introduced new or cutting-edge innovation?
  • Effectiveness & Impact - Did the project/product/service achieve its objectives and targets? What measures have been used to assess its success? What was the impact to your company and industry?
  • Dynamism - Is the strategy, project, service or product flexible to changes and progressive opportunities?

3. For entries that will be entered for the CEO of the Year category:

  • Achievements - What were the biggest achievements that the company hit under the current CEO’s leadership?
  • Challenges & Solutions - What are the biggest challenges that the CEO encountered in moving the company forward? What solutions were implemented to overcome these challenges?
  • Innovation - What new ideas did the executive introduce to substantially boost the company's business? What are the CEO’s future plans to upgrade the company and its capacities?

HOW TO ENTER?

1. Go to the online nomination form of Asian Power Awards.
2. Fill out the form with details about company and entrant.
3. Choose your category.
4. Provide the project title and 500-word write-up.
5. Upload 3 mid-resolution project photos 
6. Should you wish to provide supporting documents to substantiate your entry, upload them in the online nomination form or send them on or before 25 August 2023 to [email protected].

  • The supporting documents must be in pdf, powerpoint and/or jpg format; Google drive, Youtube.com or Vimeo.com links must be provided if you are sending supporting videos.

Upon hitting the SUBMIT button, you will receive a nomination confirmation to your email containing the details of your entry.

What can I nominate?

You may nominate any power initiative, project or plant that:

  • was completed either partially or fully, within the 12 calendar months of 2023
  • was completed and launched prior to 2023 but had recent innovations for further improvement

How do I nominate?

You can send an entry via the online nomination form where you have to fill in details about your company and the product that you wish to enter. You also have to submit a 500 word write up summarizing your product details and why it should win an award.

Can I submit multiple projects or initiatives for one category?

Yes, you may submit multiple nominations for one category, maximum of 2 entries per category.

Can I send two or more entries for our company?

Yes, each nominee can submit for a maximum of three (3) entries. One online form is equivalent to one entry so if you are nominating multiple entries, please enter each separately.

How many winners per category?

For Country Awards, only one winning company will be honored per category within each country.

For the Regional Awards, accolades will be presented in Gold, Silver, and Bronze categories.

Nomination is free of charge. Should you win, by opting for one of the winners package option, you can secure your seats at the prestigious awards dinner and gain access to a wide range of valuable benefits.
