CR Power's net generation still up in first 4 months

China Resources Power Holdings Company Limited's total net generation in April 2009, on a consolidated basis, decreased by 6.34 percent. It generated 5,104,552 Mwh, compared to 5,449,960 MWh for the same period last year.

However, total net generation for the first four months of 2009, on a consolidated basis, increased by 0.18 percent to 20,485,082 MWh, compared to 20,447,353 MWh for the same period last year.

This is due to China Resources Power's increase in net generation by 12.79 percent in March and by 16.93 percent in February, which offset its net generation decline in April and January's 16.1 percent decrease.
