A-Power COO John S. Lin passes away

 

John S. Lin, A-Power's chief operating officer and board director, passed away on January 7, 2011.

Mr. Lin had been A-Power's chief operating officer since May 2009 and was responsible for development and oversight of its global business strategy, mergers and acquisitions strategy, and business channel development. He had been a director of A-Power since January 2008.

Mr. Jinxiang Lu, A-Power's Chairman and Chief Executive Officer, said, "We are saddened by the loss of our colleague, John Lin, who served our company admirably and tirelessly. John achieved many successes for A-Power. We will carry on his mission that he accomplished so well. We hope that he is now at rest and at peace."

A-Power will begin the process of identifying and selecting a successor to Mr. Lin as a board director.
