CR Power continues generation surge in April

The total net generation by China Resources Power increased by 37.5 percent to 7,033,424 in April 2010 from 5,115,589 MWh for the same period in 2009.

This helped the total net generation for the first four months of 2010 increase by 43.4 percent to 29,381,641 MWh compared to 20,496,119 MWh for the same period last year.

On a same plant basis, total net generation for the first four months increased by 13.1 percent compared the same period last year. Power plants located in Henan, Guangdong, Jiangsu, Hebei, and other provinces recorded 21.5, 20.8, 7.9, 5.8 and 10.8 percent increases year on year, respectively.

Last month, China Resources Power reported that their total net generation in March 2010 increased by 38.6% to 7,935,846 MWh, compared to 5,725,343 MWh for the same period in 2009. This pushed total net generation for the first quarter up by 45.3% to 22,348,217 MWh compared to 15,380,531 MWh for first quarter of 2009.
