CR Power generates 7,038,408 MW in May

China Resources Power registered a total net generation 7,038,408 MWh in May 2010 on a consolidated basis. This is a 31.4 percent increase compared to 5,354,515 MW for the same period in 2009.

On account of this, the total net generation for the first five months of 2010 increased by 40.9% to 36,418,159 MW compared to 25,850,634 MW for the same period last year.

On a same plant basis, total net generation for the first five months increased by 12.0 percent compared to the same period last year. Power plants located in Henan, Guangdong, Hebei, Jiangsu and other service provinces recorded 20.4, 19.9, 8.7, 6.9 and 7.4 percent increases year on year, respectively.
