Datang generates 1.5 percent less kilowatts for 1H

Datang generated 61.3 billion kilowatts electricity in the first half of this year, representing a decline of 1.5 percent year on year.

Datang International Power Generation Co., Ltd, an independent power generator in China, attributed the decline to the shrunk demand in the market.

Its on-grid power also dropped to 57.74 billion kilowatt hours in the first half, fell 1.47 percent from the year earlier.
