 Chubu develops third mega-solar station
The Mega Solar Taketoyo Power Plant of Chubu Electric

Chubu develops third mega-solar station

Chubu Electric will construct an 8 MW solar power station in Miho, Shimizu Ward, Shizuoka City. The new station is scheduled for commencement of operation in FY2014, and its operation will reduce CO2 emissions by approximately 4,000 metric tons per year.

The company  is already proceeding with the development of Mega Solar Taketoyo and Mega Solar Iida and this new development will therefore represent the third of its mega-solar power stations.

Chubu Electric will work with Shizuoka City to win the understanding and the cooperation of local residents, and will consult with all entities involved in the plan, beginning with Shizuoka Prefecture, at the same time we provide explanations and guidance.
