Datang to build wind farm with KEPCO
China Datang Corporation and KEPCO will jointly build a wind farm in Liaoning with an initial spending of $47 million. According to the yicai.com, Dating Corporation will contribute 60 percent of the initial investment.
A Korea Electric Power or KEPCO spokesman said the project entails installed capacities of 97.5 megawatts and will be put into operation at the end of 2011.
Korea Electric possesses the rights to operate the project for 20 years, starting in 2012. Total investment on the project is $141 million.
