Energy World Power gets green light to build 230kV transmission line

The $13.5m project is for the 650MW Pagbilao CCGT.

Enerdata reported that the Hong-Kong based company Energy World Power (EWC) has received a go-ahead from the Philippines' regulator Energy Regulatory Commission (ERC) to build a 230 kV transmission facility that will connect its 650 MW Pagbilao combined cycle (CCGT) power plant in Luzon (Philippines) to the Pagbilao substation planned by the National Grid Corporation of the Philippines (NGCP). The cost of the line is estimated at PHP694m (US$13.5m).
