Jianxi's largest wind farm completed

The Changling Wind Farm is now ready to provide a total capacity of 34.5MW after its 18th wind turbine was connected to the grid last 27 February, indicating the completion of the project. It is the second wind power project in Jianxi Province and also the largest.

Changling Wind Power Plant was scheduled to begin operations of 23 wind turbines by the end of February, with ten wind turbines already generating on grid power by 11 February.

According to China Power Investment Corp., Jianxi New Energy completed the Changling Wind Farm project with excellent records in safety, quality, and cost control in only eight months. The construction of the Changling Wind Farm was commenced on July 2008.
