Thai ESCO Association helps more than 100 companies reduce energy use over 10 years

ESCO Thailand said over 10 years ago it has helped more than 100 project operators reduce energy use successfully. With high standards of ESCO equivalent to Japan, the US and Europe as well as the guaranteed and transparent monitoring process make large project operators interested.

Mr. Arthit Vechakij, President of Thai ESCO Association (ESCO) said in the topic of the way to create efficient energy use by Thai ESCO Association, as a part of the Sustainable Energy and Technology Asia 2016 exhibition and conference, that ESCO is an important tool to promote energy savings in Thailand and over 10 years the association had helped more than 100 project operators reduce energy use successfully.

ESCO is a highly standard organization with applying models from Japan, the US and Europe providing integrated services such as engineering, project management, financing and energy savings material and device measurement. Therefore, most of ESCO customers are of special and large projects which need the guarantee saving performance.

"Thai ESCO helps operators, most of them are those operate large and difficult projects, save energy successfully and also help to facilitate financing service for energy management to achieve maximize efficiency. Currently, energy saving market grow up and get more customers trust according to the actual achievement of energy saving and the energy efficiency" Mr. Arthit said.
