Guidelines & Criteria

GUIDELINES
1. Each nominee can nominate as many categories as desired.
2. Three high-resolution power plant/project photos are required. Send this directly to julie@charltonmediamail.com.
3. Awards will be judged by esteemed industry experts based on nominations received.
4. Each nomination form is valid for 1 entry only. If you are nominating for several categories, please enter each entry separately.
5. Nomination is free of charge. 
 
WHO CAN NOMINATE?
1.  Power utilities, power producers and power plant owners, developers and operators - These companies can nominate outstanding power plant, initiative or project that made a remarkable contribution to their company's business. 
2. Power vendors - Vendors can nominate successful and unique solutions that helped their customers achieve its objectives in building a power plant or launching a new project. The vendor should nominate a client for the the awards and highlight their contribution as the solution provider. 
 
ELIGIBILITY
1. Power plant, initiative or project must be launched within the 12 calendar months of 2018. It can either be partially or fully completed.  
2. Power plant, initiative or project completed prior to 2018 but had recent innovations for further improvement. 
 
HOW TO ENTER?
1. Go to online nomination form of Asian Power Awards 2019.
2. Fill out the form with details about company and entrant.
3. Choose your category.
4. Provide the project title and 500-word write-up.
5. You will then receive an email confirmation from Asian Power Awards team shortly after your nomination has been received.
6. We required 
three mid-resolution power plant/project photos to be sent to julie@charltonmediamail.com.
7. Should you wish to send supporting documents to substantiate your entry, please send them over on or before 5 July 2019 to julie@charltonmediamail.com.
The supporting documents must be in pdf, powerpoint and/or jpg format; Google drive, Youtube.com or Vimeo.com links must be provided if you are sending supporting videos.
 
JUDGING CRITERIA
1. Uniqueness & Innovation - Has the project or plant introduced new or cutting-edge innovation?
2. Effectiveness & Impact - Did the project/plant achieve its objectives and targets? What measures have been used to assess its success? What was the impact to your company and industry?
3. Dynamism - Is the project or plant flexible to changes and progressive opportunities?
