BluPine Energy expands Rajasthan C&I portfolio with three PPAs
Company is targeting 150 MW in Rajasthan.
India’s BluPine Energy has signed long-term power purchase agreements (PPAs) with KEI Industries, Craftsman Automation, and Sunbeam Lightweighting Solutions to expand its commercial and industrial (C&I) renewable energy portfolio in Rajasthan.
The agreements mark another step in BluPine Energy's strategy to provide renewable energy solutions to industrial customers whilst expanding its C&I footprint across key manufacturing hubs in India. Construction has begun on all three projects, with commissioning scheduled according to project timelines.
The company is also in the advanced stages of signing PPAs for an additional 60 MW to 70 MW of C&I capacity in Rajasthan. BluPine Energy said it expects to announce multiple new customer partnerships in the coming months, supporting its planned 150 MW C&I portfolio in the state.
BluPine Energy's Rajasthan portfolio currently includes nearly 1 GW of solar capacity and 300 MWh of battery energy storage systems (BESS).
The projects will enable the three manufacturers to meet a significant share of their electricity demand through renewable energy, helping reduce carbon emissions, improve energy security, and provide long-term energy cost stability.
