Gurīn Energy secures 379MW EBLs for three Korean solar projects

Projects will have a combined capacity of about 500MW.

Gurīn Energy has secured 379MW in electricity business licences (EBLs) for three utility-scale solar projects in South Korea.

The Jindo Green Solar project on Jindo Island secured 216MW in EBLs, while the Jindo Jido-yeomjang Solar Power Project secured 65MW.

The Goheung Nuri Solar Power Project in Goheung-gun secured 98MW, or half of its planned capacity. The project is co-owned by Gurīn Energy and Korean renewable energy developer Kumyang Green Power.

The three projects are expected to have a combined capacity of about 500MW and generate enough electricity annually to supply around 200,000 Korean households.
