Palisade acquires 1.2GW of Australian wind, storage projects
MREP will combine up to 600MW of wind generation with a 1,600MWh battery system.
Palisade Investment Partners has acquired two development-stage renewable energy projects in Australia through its renewable energy platform, Intera Renewables.
The projects are the Monogorilby Renewable Energy Park (MREP) in Queensland, acquired from LP Renewable Projects (LPRP), and the Winton Renewable Energy Storage and Stability Terminal (WRESST) in Victoria, acquired from Celero Infrastructure.
MREP will have up to 600MW of wind generation and a co-located 400MWac/1,600MWh battery energy storage system. It is located about 250km northwest of Brisbane.
WRESST is a 400MWac/1,600MWh battery energy storage project about 10km northeast of Benalla, Victoria, next to the Glenrowan Terminal Station. Celero lodged its development application in June 2026.
The acquisitions follow Intera's recruitment of its Growth and Development team from Squadron Energy. The team previously established a 10GW project pipeline and progressed more than 1.2GW of renewable energy projects into delivery.
LPRP and Celero will continue development work on the projects through financial close. Palisade Integrated Management Services will manage the assets after financial close.
