Philippine-listed PetroEnergy seals $30.9m deal for full PetroWind control
It now directly holds 60% of PWEI's outstanding capital stock.
PetroEnergy Resources Corporation (PERC) has completed its acquisition of BCPG Wind Cooperatief U.A.'s 40% equity interest in PetroWind Energy Inc. (PWEI).
The Share Purchase Agreement, signed 18 December 2025, covered 7.81 million common shares at approximately $3.96 (PHP243.15) per share, valuing the stake at approximately $30.9m (PHP1.9b).
Following completion, PERC directly holds 60% of PWEI's outstanding capital stock.
Combined with its indirect stake through 75%-owned subsidiary PetroGreen Energy Corporation (PGEC), PERC now holds an effective economic interest of 90% in PWEI, with PERC and PGEC collectively owning 100% of the company.
PWEI operates the 49.2-megawatt Nabas Wind Power Project in Aklan. PERC said full ownership gives it complete control over PWEI, which is expected to streamline decision-making, optimise capital allocation, and support long-term revenue and shareholder value.
