Airswift, EPI Group to aid renewable energy market rookies

The joint venture will offer end-to-end support for firms entering the renewables sector.

Energy, process, and infrastructure sector workforce solutions provider Airswift has announced a joint venture  with energy consultancy EPI Group to create a “formidable portfolio” of renewable energy services for the Asia-Pacific region.

The joint venture will offer end-to-end support for firms entering the region’s renewable energy market.

The collaboration will provide a combination of Airswift’s managed services expertise, recruitment, and mobilisation of multi-discipline teams to be complemented by EPI Group’s specialist technical and environmental capabilities in project development, construction, and monitoring to ensure successful operations for developers in offshore wind, solar, and geothermal.

EPI Group will also deploy local employees focused on the joint venture to Airswift’s Kuala Lumpur office.

“With the energy transition accelerating, APAC is looking to generate over half of the world’s electricity by 2030,” said Charles Pfauwadel, vice-president for Asia at Airswift. “We’re already seeing a lot of movement in the region, for example the growth of offshore wind in Vietnam and Taiwan."
