Tata Power-DDL appoints Ganesh Srinivasan as CEO

He will take over from Sanjay Banga, who has been promoted to president for T&D in Mumbai.

Tata Power Delhi Distribution Limited (Tata Power-DDL) has appointed Ganesh Srinivasan as the company’s CEO starting 2 December, according to a press release. He will take over from Sanjay Banga.

Meanwhile, Banga has been promoted to president - transmission & distribution (T&D) in Mumbai, where he will take care of all India operations of Tata Power related to the sector.

Prior to moving to Tata Power-DDL, Srinivasan was the Chief – transmission & distribution in Mumbai. He has been with Tata Power since September 2012 and has also headed Strategy & Corporate Planning Division there.

He has two decades of experience in power utility, infrastructure, product development & manufacturing and automotive sector. He has also spearheaded strategy, operations transformation and organisational development. He started his career with Cummins India Limited and has also worked with McKinsey & Company.
