He has worked in several countries across Southeast Asia and originally started at the firm's Brussels office in Belgium. He currently heads Roland Berger energy practice across the region. With fifteen years of experience, Dieter consults on infrastructure development, with a focus on energy and utilities and especially renewables. Michael Wong is Chief Operating Officer (COO) of Tuas Power and is responsible for developing business strategies in key areas like planning and development, trading and regulation, information technology, and strengthening the performance of the Company. He joined the Company in 2005 and rose to take on key positions over the last 18 years, with over 15 years as the former General Manager of Tuas Power Supply (TPS), the retail business arm of Tuas Power.
In addition to his role in Tuas Power, Michael was appointed Chairman of the Energy & Chemicals Industry Group at the Singapore Manufacturing Federation from 2024.
Michael graduated with a MSc in Financial Economics, London University and a Bachelor Degree in Mechanical Engineering with a Second Class Upper Honours from the University of Hong Kong.

Liming Qiao is the CEO and Founder of the Future Energy Storage and System Integration Alliance (FESSIA), a multi-stakeholder platform bringing together the energy storage and renewable energy industries to engage with governments and utilities. FESSIA is an advocacy group working to address the missing pieces of the energy transition: grid flexibility and system integration.
FESSIA’s mission is focused on ASEAN—one of the most dynamic energy markets in the world. Its goal is to shape a vision for the role of energy storage in future energy systems and to develop concrete Route to Market policy frameworks to make this vision achievable. The organization was inaugurated in 2025 with the support of the Climate Breakthrough Award, one of the most prestigious awards in the climate space, backed by the global philanthropic community.
Liming is the 2025 Climate Breakthrough Awardee, and through FESSIA she aims to ensure that storage, flexibility, and integration are no longer overlooked in the global clean energy transition.
Previously, Liming served as Chief Strategy Officer–Asia and Head of Asia at the Global Wind Energy Council (GWEC). She worked in GWEC since 2008 in various leadership roles focused on policy and Asia-related issues. She created and led GWEC Asia, engaging major industry and institutional stakeholders to drive policy advancement for wind energy development across the region. Liming also pioneered GWEC’s entry into new Asian wind markets—including Mongolia, Vietnam, Thailand, and Taiwan—and worked closely with governments and industry partners to strengthen policy frameworks in China and beyond.
With a career in climate and energy policy dating back to 2003, Liming has deep experience in renewable energy and international climate processes. Before joining GWEC, she worked with international organizations on a range of climate-related programs.

Ralph Dixon is the Executive Director of Sustainability at YTL Corporation Berhad and CEO of YTL’s carbon consulting subsidiary, YTL-SV Carbon. YTL Group’s core businesses are ownership and management of regulated utilities and other infrastructure assets, serving more than 12 million customers on three continents. Ralph has been with YTL for 17 years, managing the environmental investment, carbon
strategy and sustainability divisions for the Group.
Ralph has also served as a Trustee of the Malaysian AIDS Foundation, Chairman of the Pediatric AIDS Fund, and is an alternate Trustee of Reef Check Malaysia, and Chairman of Save Wild Tigers (M) LLP.
Previously, Ralph worked in investment banking for 15 years with Hoare Govett, Hong Leong and Dresdner Kleinwort Wasserstein. Following that, he moved into manufacturing in 2001 as the Chief Executive Officer of the paper converting factories of Detpak in Indonesia and South Africa supplying to McDonalds, Starbucks, KFC and other major quick service restaurants, hotels and bakeries. He then worked with Hong Leong Asia in Singapore as Chief Executive Officer for their recycled wood packaging
subsidiary, GPac Technology before joining YTL Corporation Berhad in Malaysia in 2007.
Ralph Dixon graduated from the University of Warwick, United Kingdom, with a B.Sc. (Hons) in Management Sciences. He also has a Diploma in Mandarin from the National Taiwan Normal University.

Alexander Lenz is the CEO of Aquila Clean Energy Asia Pacific (ACE APAC), a clean energy platform that funds, develops, builds and operates renewable energy assets across the region. ACE APAC is part of Aquila Group, a sustainable investment and asset development company focused on generating and managing essential assets on behalf of its clients. Prior to joining Aquila in 2020, he was the CEO of Conergy where he focused on the development of and investment in solar PV assets across Asia Pacific, including both utility scale and behind-the-meter C&I. During Alexander‘s time at Conergy, he also led the team responsible for the project development, turnkey EPC contracting, and O&M of utility scale solar PV assets in Asia Pacific and the Middle East. Before relocating to Asia, Alexander was the head of corporate development at Conergy’s headquarters in Hamburg, Germany. He has more than 15 years’ experience in the renewable energy industry.
Alexander has also worked in restructuring and corporate finance consulting at Roland Berger Strategy Consultants in Berlin and as a management consultant for Deloitte in Duesseldorf. He holds a master’s degree in Economics from Maastricht University, The Netherlands.

Mike Thomas, with over three decades of energy sector consulting experience, is the managing director at The Lantau Group. He specialises in the rigorous application of economics and analytics to energysector challenges facing policymakers, commercial stakeholders, and decarbonisation-committed end users. His experience extends across the wide spectrum of energy market designs and regulatory arrangements, including from fully nodal competitive markets, with and without capacity market mechanism, to vertically integrated regulated structures. Prior to co-founding The Lantau Group, Mike headed the Asia Pacific Energy & Environment practice of a global consulting firm and was based in Wellington, New Zealand for ten years. He moved to Hong Kong in 2007 and co-founded The Lantau Group in 2010. He began his consulting career in the United States where he worked for 10 years with a firm that, among other things, was a leader in energy sector liberalisation engagements worldwide. Mike has an MPP from Harvard Kennedy School (PAE Prize) and a BA in Economics from Carleton College.

Rutuja Tendolkar is a Partner in ERM based in Singapore and is the Asia Social Performance Lead. She has over 15 years of experience in capital project delivery (across resettlement advisory, gender, human rights, and impact assessment) and transaction advisory (ESG and sustainable finance).
Her experience in the power sector includes leading E&S advisory for planning and implementation of major capital projects across conventional power, gas-based power plants, nuclear and renewable energy (wind, hydro, storage, solar and floating solar). Rutuja is also assisting corporates to embed a just transition perspective into retiring and repurposing coal power plants.
Rutuja also coordinates ERM’s transaction advisory work with DFIs (including the IFC and ADB) and commercial banks (including EPFIs), particularly for assessing ESG and sustainability in the context of sustainable finance, project finance and corporate finance transactions for energy transition, scaling renewable/new energy platforms, and infrastructure financing. Rutuja’s experience at ERM has given her an exposure to geographies in South Asia; South-east Asia; Middle east; Africa and CIS countries.

Achal Sondhi is Chief Investment Officer at Aquila Clean Energy Asia Pacific where he is responsible for driving and growing the company’s clean energy portfolio across the region. Daniel Ruppert brings over 15 years of experience in investment banking and business management to his position as Chief Investment Officer. As a German citizen who has resided in Malaysia for 20 years, Daniel has a deep understanding of the Malaysian market. He drives strategic investments and growth leveraging his strong track record in the TMT (Technology, Media, Telecommunications) and energy sector.
He joined Solarvest in July 2024 as Chief Investment Officer. Daniel’s role includes clean energy asset acquisitions, portfolio management, risk management, and strategic capital allocation. He is on the lookout for immediate investment opportunities for various clean energy technologies across the ASEAN region. This encompasses solar, wind, hydropower, biogas/biomass, energy storage, energy efficiency and EV ecosystem.
Prior to joining our team, he served as the CEO of Sedania Innovator Bhd (KLSE: SEDANIA / 0178), a public-listed company in KL, from 2018. In this role, he drove green investments in sustainable infrastructure and renewable energy, and successfully transformed Sedania into a profitable corporation. Under his leadership, Sedania achieved its highest profit twice in 2019 and 2021.
Daniel began his career as an investment banker in London, gaining extensive experience before transitioning to senior roles in various industries. He has also led LNE Network Systems (Asia) SDN BHD in Germany and founded two successful companies in Malaysia: Presto Grocery Sdn Bhd and A.D. Arif Solutions Sdn Bhd. Tawfique has also implemented value engineering strategies, including agri-photovoltaics, to maximize the dual usage of land developed for solar projects.
In addition, he has extensive experience in waste to energy projects, including biomass from torrefied empty fruit bunch, biogas from palm oil effluent, and municipal solid waste. Tawfique currently serves as a key senior management at Leader Energy Holding Berhad, overseeing business development and strategies across 7 countries. His career journey includes valuable experiences in public listed and companies such as Cypark Resources Berhad, Willowglen Berhad, ITRAMAS Corporation, Quantum Solar Park, and the multinational corporation Ecoplexus Inc., where he gained insights into the renewable energy industry and honed his strategic business skills.

Edgare has been a Managing Director of Asia Green Capital since 2006 and is currently holding several positions in renewable energy companies (including Urban Renewables) in Asia. Prior to these positions, Edgare founded Asia Green Capital Partners, which was a renewable energy project development company developing wind, solar and hydro projects in Southeast Asia with the support of IFC and ADB and subsequently sold to Macquarie Capital. Before that, Edgare was Partner and CFO for BioX Group, an integrated renewable energy firm which was sold to International Power. Edgare has also worked as a Director Institutional Sales at State Street Global Advisors (SSGA) in Brussels and was responsible for the Benelux Sales Team. He also held several senior positions within Rabobank International in Europe and Asia. In his last role at Rabobank, Edgare was an Associate Director for the bank’s merger and acquisition team in Southeast Asia and has advised on a wide range of Corporate Finance and M&A transactions within Europe and Asia. Liming Qiao is the CEO and Founder of the Future Energy Storage and System Integration Alliance (FESSIA), a multi-stakeholder platform bringing together the energy storage and renewable energy industries to engage with governments and utilities. FESSIA is an advocacy group working to address the missing pieces of the energy transition: grid flexibility and system integration.
FESSIA’s mission is focused on ASEAN—one of the most dynamic energy markets in the world. Its goal is to shape a vision for the role of energy storage in future energy systems and to develop concrete Route to Market policy frameworks to make this vision achievable. The organization was inaugurated in 2025 with the support of the Climate Breakthrough Award, one of the most prestigious awards in the climate space, backed by the global philanthropic community.
Liming is the 2025 Climate Breakthrough Awardee, and through FESSIA she aims to ensure that storage, flexibility, and integration are no longer overlooked in the global clean energy transition.
Previously, Liming served as Chief Strategy Officer–Asia and Head of Asia at the Global Wind Energy Council (GWEC). She worked in GWEC since 2008 in various leadership roles focused on policy and Asia-related issues. She created and led GWEC Asia, engaging major industry and institutional stakeholders to drive policy advancement for wind energy development across the region. Liming also pioneered GWEC’s entry into new Asian wind markets—including Mongolia, Vietnam, Thailand, and Taiwan—and worked closely with governments and industry partners to strengthen policy frameworks in China and beyond.
With a career in climate and energy policy dating back to 2003, Liming has deep experience in renewable energy and international climate processes. Before joining GWEC, she worked with international organizations on a range of climate-related programs.

Ralph Dixon is the Executive Director of Sustainability at YTL Corporation Berhad and CEO of YTL’s carbon consulting subsidiary, YTL-SV Carbon. YTL Group’s core businesses are ownership and management of regulated utilities and other infrastructure assets, serving more than 12 million customers on three continents. Ralph has been with YTL for 17 years, managing the environmental investment, carbon
strategy and sustainability divisions for the Group.
Ralph has also served as a Trustee of the Malaysian AIDS Foundation, Chairman of the Pediatric AIDS Fund, and is an alternate Trustee of Reef Check Malaysia, and Chairman of Save Wild Tigers (M) LLP.
Previously, Ralph worked in investment banking for 15 years with Hoare Govett, Hong Leong and Dresdner Kleinwort Wasserstein. Following that, he moved into manufacturing in 2001 as the Chief Executive Officer of the paper converting factories of Detpak in Indonesia and South Africa supplying to McDonalds, Starbucks, KFC and other major quick service restaurants, hotels and bakeries. He then worked with Hong Leong Asia in Singapore as Chief Executive Officer for their recycled wood packaging
subsidiary, GPac Technology before joining YTL Corporation Berhad in Malaysia in 2007.
Ralph Dixon graduated from the University of Warwick, United Kingdom, with a B.Sc. (Hons) in Management Sciences. He also has a Diploma in Mandarin from the National Taiwan Normal University.

Alexander Lenz is the CEO of Aquila Clean Energy Asia Pacific (ACE APAC), a clean energy platform that funds, develops, builds and operates renewable energy assets across the region. ACE APAC is part of Aquila Group, a sustainable investment and asset development company focused on generating and managing essential assets on behalf of its clients. Prior to joining Aquila in 2020, he was the CEO of Conergy where he focused on the development of and investment in solar PV assets across Asia Pacific, including both utility scale and behind-the-meter C&I. During Alexander‘s time at Conergy, he also led the team responsible for the project development, turnkey EPC contracting, and O&M of utility scale solar PV assets in Asia Pacific and the Middle East. Before relocating to Asia, Alexander was the head of corporate development at Conergy’s headquarters in Hamburg, Germany. He has more than 15 years’ experience in the renewable energy industry.
Alexander has also worked in restructuring and corporate finance consulting at Roland Berger Strategy Consultants in Berlin and as a management consultant for Deloitte in Duesseldorf. He holds a master’s degree in Economics from Maastricht University, The Netherlands.

Mike Thomas, with over three decades of energy sector consulting experience, is the managing director at The Lantau Group. He specialises in the rigorous application of economics and analytics to energysector challenges facing policymakers, commercial stakeholders, and decarbonisation-committed end users. His experience extends across the wide spectrum of energy market designs and regulatory arrangements, including from fully nodal competitive markets, with and without capacity market mechanism, to vertically integrated regulated structures. Prior to co-founding The Lantau Group, Mike headed the Asia Pacific Energy & Environment practice of a global consulting firm and was based in Wellington, New Zealand for ten years. He moved to Hong Kong in 2007 and co-founded The Lantau Group in 2010. He began his consulting career in the United States where he worked for 10 years with a firm that, among other things, was a leader in energy sector liberalisation engagements worldwide. Mike has an MPP from Harvard Kennedy School (PAE Prize) and a BA in Economics from Carleton College.

Rutuja Tendolkar is a Partner in ERM based in Singapore and is the Asia Social Performance Lead. She has over 15 years of experience in capital project delivery (across resettlement advisory, gender, human rights, and impact assessment) and transaction advisory (ESG and sustainable finance).
Her experience in the power sector includes leading E&S advisory for planning and implementation of major capital projects across conventional power, gas-based power plants, nuclear and renewable energy (wind, hydro, storage, solar and floating solar). Rutuja is also assisting corporates to embed a just transition perspective into retiring and repurposing coal power plants.
Rutuja also coordinates ERM’s transaction advisory work with DFIs (including the IFC and ADB) and commercial banks (including EPFIs), particularly for assessing ESG and sustainability in the context of sustainable finance, project finance and corporate finance transactions for energy transition, scaling renewable/new energy platforms, and infrastructure financing. Rutuja’s experience at ERM has given her an exposure to geographies in South Asia; South-east Asia; Middle east; Africa and CIS countries.

Daniel began his career as an investment banker in London, gaining extensive experience before transitioning to senior roles in various industries. Edgare has been a Managing Director of Asia Green Capital since 2006 and is currently holding several positions in renewable energy companies (including Urban Renewables) in Asia. Prior to these positions, Edgare founded Asia Green Capital Partners, which was a renewable energy project development company developing wind, solar and hydro projects in Southeast Asia with the support of IFC and ADB and subsequently sold to Macquarie Capital. Before that, Edgare was Partner and CFO for BioX Group, an integrated renewable energy firm which was sold to International Power. Edgare has also worked as a Director Institutional Sales at State Street Global Advisors (SSGA) in Brussels and was responsible for the Benelux Sales Team. He also held several senior positions within Rabobank International in Europe and Asia. In his last role at Rabobank, Edgare was an Associate Director for the bank’s merger and acquisition team in Southeast Asia and has advised on a wide range of Corporate Finance and M&A transactions within Europe and Asia.
