Muhamad Reza, PhD
Muhamad Reza has over 20 years of experience in power engineering. Currently representative partner to Solvina International Sweden for South East Asian region, he is based in Jakarta. Prior to coming back to his native country in Indonesia in 2016, he spent 10 years with ABB Sweden in Västerås, from 2006 to 2016, as research scientist, R&D project leader, Wind Technology Team Leader at ABB Corporate Research from 2006 to 2012 and as System Design Study Group Manager at ABB Power Systems FACTS from 2012 to 2016. Reza lived and studied in the Netherlands from 1998 to 2006 where he obtained his M.Sc. and Ph.D. degrees in Power Engineering from Delft University of Technology. He holds a B.Sc. in Electrical Engineering from Bandung Institute of Technology, Indonesia.
Nadhilah Shani and Rifa Fadilla
Nadhilah Shani is a Power, Fossil Fuel, Alternative Energy and Storage (PFS) Officer. She holds a master degree in Sustainable Energy Technology, University of Delft, Netherlands.
Rifa Fadilla is an Intern at Power, Fossil Fuel, Alternative Energy and Storage (PFS) Department. She's currently in her final year of her study at Universitas Indonesia specialised in Electrical and Electronics Engineering.
Nadhilah Shani, Marcel Nicky Arianto, and Putri Aprilia Maharani
Nadhilah Shani is an energy policy researcher with more than seven years of experience advocating energy policy in Southeast Asia. Currently, Shani is a Manager of Power Generation and Interconnection Department in ASEAN Centre for Energy, which is leading the work on the ASEAN Power Grid, as well as emerging technologies like Nuclear, Hydrogen, and Storage.
Her journey began as a solar engineer before transitioning into policy research, driven by her passion for sustainable energy. Shani has played a vital role in supporting energy transitions in Indonesia, empowering utilities to enhance renewable energy procurement for the industrial sector.
Shani holds BSc in Electrical Power Engineering from ITB and MSc in Sustainable Energy Technology from TU Delft, Netherlands.

Marcel Nicky Arianto is a researcher at the ASEAN Centre for Energy (ACE). He is actively involved in the ASEAN Power Grid initiative, a regionwide aspiration focused in enhancing ASEAN’s grid reliability through interconnections.
He is also involved in advancing low-carbon technologies adoption in ASEAN, particularly through advocacy of hydrogen and ammonia policies. His passion lies in the topic of power system reliability and quality, power systems policies and regulations, and low-carbon technologies.
Prior to joining ACE, Nicky gained one year of experience as Laboratory Assistant at the Power System Simulation Laboratory at Institut Teknologi Sepuluh Nopember, Indonesia, where he also earned his B.Eng in Electrical Engineering (majored in Power System Engineering).

Putri Aprilia Maharani is a Junior Officer in the Business Development Unit at the ASEAN Centre for Energy (ACE), where she previously worked as a Junior Research Analyst on Power Generation and Interconnection. At ACE, she provides coordination support for regional energy market development and stakeholder collaboration.
Putri has contributed to several of ACE’s flagship projects, including the ASEAN Power Grid Advancement Program (APG-AP), the Indonesia–Malaysia Cross-border Interconnection Feasibility Study, and the Regional Power Market (RPM) roadmap, as well as ACE’s flagship publications such as Policy Insights, Technical Reports, and the ASEAN Energy Booklets, with a particular focus on power generation, interconnection, and the clean energy transition in ASEAN.
Prior to joining ACE, Putri earned a bachelor’s degree in International Relations Communication from LSPR Communication and Business Institute in Jakarta, Indonesia.
Nadia Soraya
Nadia is a Partner in the Finance & Projects Practice Group with many years of experience handling a wide range of finance and corporate transactions including project finance, general banking and finance. and mergers and acquisitions. Her main industry sectors are energy. natural resources and infrastructure. Nadia has particular expertise in the power and oil and gas sectors where she has advised on a number of significant project financing transactions, acting for project developers, state-owned enterprises, contractors and lenders.
