CLP Power appoints Chiang Tung Keung as managing director
He'll take over starting June 1.
Hong Kong utility CLP Power announced the appointment of Chiang Tung Keung as Managing Director of CLP Power with effect from 1 June. He succeeds Paul Poon, who is retiring after more than 30 years of service.
Chiang started his career with CLP Power in 1988 as a Graduate Trainee. He has held a variety of management positions in different areas including power system asset management, planning, design, operation and maintenance, power quality, and corporate and regulatory strategy. He is currently the company's Chief Operating Officer.
Rick Truscott, currently Senior Director - Power Systems at CLP Power, will succeed Chiang as Chief Operating Officer with effect from 1 June. Truscott joined CLP Group in 1999 as Business Development Manager and was later Senior Vice President for Southeast Asia in Business Development. He took up his current position in 2014 after serving as Director - Generation from 2011.
