ACEN, Cebu Pacific ink deal for renewable energy shift
This covers two key facilities.
ACEN, through its subsidiary ACEN Renewable Energy Solutions, has partnered with Cebu Pacific to transition two of the airline’s key facilities to 100% renewable energy.
In a statement, ACEN said the deal covers the airlines’ APlus and AirJuan buildings that house maintenance and catering operations, respectively.
“By providing renewable energy solutions, we are enabling Cebu Pacific to reduce its carbon emissions and operate more efficiently. This partnership aligns with our mission of making renewable energy accessible for businesses across the Philippines,” said Sheila Mina, vice president and head of account management at ACEN.
“Partnering with ACEN RES also allows us to take advantage of the benefits of the Green Energy Option Program of the Department of Energy including cost savings for Cebu Pacific and supporting the country’s goal to boost renewable energy supply,” said Felix Lopez, Cebu Pacific chief human resources officer.
