Toyota Tsusho to integrate Eurus Energy, Terras Energy

Eurus will be the surviving company.

Toyota Tsusho Corporation has announced that it will be integrating the management of its wholly owned subsidiaries Eurus Energy Holdings Corporation and Terras Energy Corporation on 1 April 2025, with Eurus Energy as the surviving company.

In a statement, Toyota Tsusho said the integration will expand Eurus Energy's operations to 16 countries and regions. This will also make the company a major power generation firm with a total wind and solar capacity of 4,332 megawatts as of the end of September 2024.

“The two companies will work to expand and reinforce the renewable energy value chain by strengthening ‘collection, coordination, and delivery’ through the supply of energy management services that utilise storage batteries and virtual power plant (VPP) platforms, etc.,” Toyota Tsusho said.

By combining their strengths in business development, technology, and human resources, the subsidiaries will optimise management resources and strive to further corporate growth, the company added.
