Alternergy secures interconnection deal for 100 MW Wind Project

It is the second interconnection deal Alternergy signed this year.

Alternergy Holdings, through its subsidiary Alternergy Tanay Wind Corporation (ATWC), signed an interconnection agreement with the National Grid Corporation of the Philippines (NGCP) for its 100-megawatt wind project.

In a statement, Alternergy said this is the second ICA signed with NGCP, following the interconnection deal for the 64-MW Alabat Wind Power Project.

“NGCP’s approval is a positive response to fostering connectivity for renewable energy projects and increased critical energy infrastructures,” said ATWC President Knud Hedeager.

NGCP President and CEO Anthony Almeda said it will assist with the project as this will boost the grid, supporting the country’s energy sufficiency and sustainability.
