Thai firm BCPG buys stake in 50MW Philippine wind project for $28.5m

It will hold a 40% interest.

Thailand-based company BCPG has signed an agreement with CAIF III Pte. Ltd. to acquire the entire interest in CapAsia ASEAN Wind Holdings Cooperatief U.A. on 17 March 2017 at the amount of not exceeding USD 28.5m (approximately THB 1,004m) with the detail as specified in the Information disclosed to the Stock Exchange of Thailand.

BCPG will hold a 409% interest in the project which is located in Nabas, Visayas Island. 36MW of the project are currently in operation while the other 14MW are under development.
