ACEN injects $78.2m into clean energy projects

A portion was allocated to a solar project in the Philippines.

Philippines-based ACEN is investing $78.2m (PHP 4.6b) in various renewable energy projects.

In a bourse filing, ACEN said an equity infusion of $55m (PHP 3.1b) will be injected into ACEN Renewables International Pte Ltd and/or ACEN International, Inc.

There will also be $25.5m (PHP 1.5b) injected into the 300 megawatt Palauig 2 Solar Project, located in Palauig, Zambales.
