Philippines breaks grounds for 10.6MW mini hydroelectric power plant

The Pulanai hydropower plant project was worth US$54.2m.

Based on the Department of Energy data, the 10.6MW facility was among the hundreds of power generating projects approved by the department for this year.

The Pulanai plant, owned and operated by Repower Energy Development Corp., will rise in Zone 11, Hangaron, Barangay Lumbayao in Valencia City.

The Pulanai Hydroelectric Power Plant is expected to help meet Mindanao’s power requirements and spur economic activity in Bukidnon.
