Adani Power adds Mirzapur Thermal Energy as new subsidiary

It acquired five million shares in Mirzapur Thermal Energy.

Adani Power acquired a 99.8% equity stake in Mirzapur Thermal Energy U.P. Private Limited, making it one of its subsidiaries.

In a disclosure, Adani Power said it has been allotted five million equity shares worth $0.12 (INR10) each. 

Mirzapur Thermal Energy was previously a wholly-owned subsidiary of Adani Infra (India) Limited.

The new subsidiary, which will provide capacity augmentation to Adani Power, is yet to start commercial activities.
