Amongst the body’s duties is the issuance of permits for nuclear-related activities.

The Philippines and Thailand are also pushing the tech but they haven’t made much progress.

The country still needs to work on its nuclear power strategy and related studies.

Under EO 164, the government will develop a Nuclear Energy program.
