Pattern Energy completes first project in Japan

The 33MW Ohorayama wind project will sell power to Shikoku Electric Power Company.

Pattern Energy has finally completed the 33MW Ohorayama wind power project, its first Japanese project which is located on the south side of Shikoku island.

Shikoku Electric Power Company will buy the power generated from the project under a 20-year power purchase agreement.

The company has previously just acquired the 11-turbine site along with 134MW of other wind and 39MW of solar projects.
