EnergyAustralia buys 950MW of gas-fired facilities for $157m

These plants contribute around 9% of Victoria's generation capacity.

The Australian utility EnergyAustralia has acquired two gas-fired power plants in the state of Victoria (Australia) with a combined installed capacity of 950 MW from Ecogen Energy for a total consideration of AUD205m (US$157m).
