RATCH Group names new CEO
The new CEO served various key roles in the EGAT.
Nitus Voraphonpiput will take the role of RATCH Group’s chief executive officer effective on 1 May.
In a statement, RATCH said Nitus has extensive expertise in all aspects of the power business value chain including both fossil fuel and renewable energy.
He also has experience in research and development in technology and innovation in energy transition, carbon neutrality and net zero emission.
“As RATCH’s leader, he will capitalise on talent and know-how to drive the company’s business strategy for creating shared values and moving forward to achieve carbon neutrality goal by 2050,” the company said.

Nitus previously held various roles in the Electricity Generating Authority of Thailand including Deputy Governor – Fuel, Assistant Governor – Corporate Strategy, Director - Generation and Transmission System Planning Division, and Director - Power Purchase Agreement Division.
He was also the chair of the Technical Task Force No.3 Commercial Arrangement of the Laos, Thailand, Malaysia, and Singapore Power Integration Project.
