Canada's Northland Power scores 744 MW offshore wind project in Taiwan
The two projects are Hailong 2 and 3.
Canada-based Northland Power and its partner Yushan Energy Co Ltd of Singapore won a combined 744 MW of offshore wind capacity in two Taiwanese sites in the country’s first offshore wind auction.

The Hailong 2 project was awarded 232 MW at a price of TWD 2,224.5 per MWh whilst Hailong 3 was allocated 512 MW at a price of TWD 2,502.5 per MWh.
The move is in line Taiwan's plan to allocate a total of 5.5 GW of offshore wind for construction by 2025.
