India generates 7943.9 MU in June

The power generation for all of India in June stands at 7943.97 MU, at a plant load factor of 62.79.

 

This is according to to the latest report submitted by the Central Electricity Authority on the tentative energy generation and plant load factor report for the month of June 2011

There is gain of about 16000 MU 24792.9 MU of generation for the month of April, with the maximum generation being reported from the Western region.

For the northern region, the generation stands at 1641.2 MU, at a PLF of 55.13, against a targeted 1863 MU

Generation for the southern region stands at 2162 MU, at a PLF of 64.6, against a targeted 2342 MU. When this is contrasted with the generation for the same region for April, this is a decrease of about 5000 MU.
