West Sulawesi to build 7 micro-hydro power plants

Accelerate West Sulawesi industrial sector.

This is what the West Sulawesi provincial government hopes the seven micro-hydro power plants will do for them.

It plants will cost Rp17.5 billion to build, according to governor Anwar Adnan Saleh.

"The 7 micro-hydro power plants (PLTMH) are constructed in four districts namely in Majene, Mamuju, Polman and Mamasa," Anwar said.

The micro-hydro power plants constitute the investment projects in effort to develop the industrial sector and boost the provincial economic growth.

Anwar pointed out that each of the PLTMH has one up to two million watts.
