Pakistan to tap China's renewable energy technology

Acquisition of renewable energy technology from China is a priority for Pakistan.

This was emphasized by the Pakistan-China Joint Chamber of Commerce and Industry.

PCJCCI Founder President Shah Faisal Afridi revealed that PCJCCI was launching a campaign to attract Chinese investment companies towards the energy sector in Pakistan, and the business corporations in China had expressed keen interest in establishing power plants in Pakistan.

A match-making process is being planned to materialise the investments, he said.

He said that a delegation comprising representatives of such corporations would soon be invited to Pakistan to review joint venture opportunities in the field of energy.
