Philippines approves six more hydropower projects

These will have a combined capacity of47.6 MW.

The Renewable Energy Management Bureau also has an additional 36 hydropower projects under review.

The six hydropower projects are the 4.5 MW Ibulao plant in Lagawe, Ifugao; the 3 MW Dupinga plant in Gabaldon, Nueva Ecija; the 18 MW Timbaban plant in Madalag, Aklan; the Culaman plant in Manolo, Bukidnon; the 7 MW run of river Tudaya plant in Santa Cruz, Davao del Sur and the 5.1 MW Igbulo plant in Igbaras, Iloilo.
