Asian Power Awards 2022 Winner: ENGIE Lab Singapore

 

Engie Lab Singapore wins the R&D Project of the Year at the Asian Power Awards 2022.

Following this success, Director, Loic Villocel, walks us through the inspiration behind its Renewable Energy Integration Demonstration Singapore - Sustainable Power for Off-grid Regions (REIDS-SPORE) microgrid project. He highlights the project's purpose to provide sustainable energy solutions to remote and underserved areas. Aside from this, he shares that it has been received positively by stakeholders in remote communities and has generated interest from neighbouring regions. He also emphasises the significance of integrating sustainability and affordable energy solutions into the facility's products and services.
