ACME Solar taps partners for battery energy storage capacity expansion
The delivery of supplies will be in a phased manner.
ACME Solar has announced its partners for its over 3.1 gigawatt-hours of battery energy storage system procurements, which will support its power projects across India.
In a bourse filing, ACME Solar said it has tapped various companies such as Zhejiang Narada and Trina Energy for the project.
“This marks one of the largest battery storage procurements in India to date and will support the deployment of BESS across ACME Solar’s multiple renewable energy FDRE (Firm & Dispatchable Renewable Energy) and battery-linked projects, scheduled for commissioning over the next 12-18 months across multiple states in India,” it said.
The procurements will be delivered in phases over the next four to eight months of the current fiscal year.
“This significant order underscores ACME Solar’s commitment to accelerating clean energy adoption and enhancing grid stability in one of India’s fastest-growing renewable energy regions,” the company said.
