ANGEA names new chairman
Ryosuke Tsugaru has over 30 years of experience in the energy industry.
The Asia Natural Gas and Energy Association (ANGEA) has appointed Ryosuke Tsugaru as its new chairman following the retirement of outgoing chair Bill Bullock.
According to ANGEA, Tsugaru, who is senior managing executive officer and chief low carbon fuel officer at JERA, officially commenced his two-year term on 2 September.
"Tsugaru-san brings vast experience and great expertise from more than three decades working in the global energy sector. His strong leadership and insights into energy security and the energy transition will help guide ANGEA’s policy and advocacy work and also our ongoing development as an organisation,” said ANGEA CEO Paul Everingham.
