Thailand clean energy push accelerates with GCL SI–Getz Energy MOU
GCL SI will supply solar modules and battery storage systems.
GCL System Integration (GCL SI) and Getz Energy Company Limited have signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) for the planned supply of up to 1 GW equivalent of photovoltaic modules in Thailand over the next three years.
The agreement was signed during the “Getz Energy Open House: Welcome to the Smart Energy Revolution” event, which brought together industry stakeholders to discuss large-scale solar deployment and smart energy integration.
Getz Energy, a wholly owned subsidiary of Global Power Synergy Public Company Limited (GPSC), said the partnership supports its efforts to expand solar generation capacity and strengthen its role in Thailand’s clean energy sector.
Under the agreement, GCL SI will supply photovoltaic modules and battery energy storage systems for large-scale solar and hybrid solar projects. Deliveries will be phased based on construction and grid connection schedules.
The partnership also supports GPSC’s long-term renewable energy strategy and both companies’ focus on advancing next-generation solar technologies and regional energy infrastructure development.
