More power plants schedule maintenance shutdowns in the coming months

For June, total capacity on outage is 1,125MW.

In June, the total capacity on outage is 1,125MW and there are power plants that are scheduled to go on shutdown or are still on shutdown for the coming months.

According to a research note from Maybank ATR Kim Eng, these are 375MW Pagbilao 1 (30 May to 28 Jun), 250MW San Lorenzo Module 50 (13-14 Jun), the 250MW San Lorenzo Module 60 (20-21 Jun) and the 250MW Sta Rita Module 40 natural gas plant (24-28 Jun).

In July, the power plants on shutdown will translate to a capacity outage of 1,425MW and these are: 300MW Ilijan natural gas plant (29 Jun- 5 Aug), 375MW Pagbilao plant (4 Jul-2 Aug), 250MW Sta Rita Module 30 (4-5Jul), 250MW Sta Rita Module 10 (11-12 Jul) and the 250MW Sta Rita Module 20 (18-19 Jul).

In August the power plants on shutdown will translate to a capacity outage of 2,075MW and these are: the 300MW Ilijan 1 (29 June-5 Aug), 375MW Pagbilao 2 (4 Jul-2 Aug), 600MW Sual 1 (8 Aug- 6 Sep), 250MW Sta Rita Module 20 (8-12 Aug), 250MW San Lorenzo Module 60 (15-19 Aug) and 300MW Calaca 1 (22 Aug-5 Oct).
