Nexif Ratch Energy breaks ground for 145 MWp PH solar project

Expected commercial operation is fourth quarter 2025.

Nexif Ratch Energy has conducted a ground breaking ceremony for its 145 megawatt-peak Bacolod Solar Power Project, its second solar venture in the Philippines.

“With construction now underway, we are excited to work toward achieving commercial operations by Q4 [fourth quarter] 2025, contributing to a more sustainable energy future,” the company said in a statement.

The project spans the cities of Bacolod and Bago in Negros Occidental province. It is a ground-mounted solar photovoltaic project that has the potential to power up to 52,600 households.

In October, Nexif Ratch Energy achieved financial close for the solar project.
