Adani Green Energy sets record 5.1-GW greenfield growth surge
Total operational capacity expanded 35% year on year to 19.3 GW.
Adani Green Energy has delivered its highest-ever annual greenfield capacity addition of 5.1 gigawatts in the financial year 2026, the company announced on 24 April 2026.
The additions comprised 3,412 MW of solar capacity, of which 2,974 MW was commissioned at Khavda and 438 MW in Rajasthan, alongside 683 MW of wind and 956 MW of solar-wind hybrid capacity, both at Khavda.
Core earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation, and amortisation from power supply rose 23% year on year to $1.28b (Rs 10,865 crore).
Meanwhile, total operational capacity expanded 35% year on year to 19.3 GW, with the year’s addition being 1.5 times the 3.3 GW commissioned in FY25.
Moreover, revenue from power supply grew 22% YoY to $1.36b (Rs 11,602 crore), whilst energy sales climbed 34% and cash profit rose 11% YoY.
Central to AGEL's growth trajectory is the Khavda renewable energy complex in Gujarat, now hosting 9.4 GW of operational solar, wind, and hybrid capacity.
