Concord New Energy power generation falls 5.4% in May
Wind power generation dipped 3.4% during the month.
Concord New Energy Group Limited reported total attributable power generation output of 733.77 gigawatt-hour (GWh) for May 2026, down 5.43% year-on-year from 775.89 GWh.
This follows a 5.28% drop in total output in April.
From January to May, total attributable power generation output fell 4.28% to 3,930.92 GWh from 4,106.58 GWh a year earlier.
Wind power generation decreased 3.4% year-on-year to 646.49 GWh from 669.25 GWh. Its output for the first five months also declined 3.25% to 3,502.78 GWh.
Meanwhile, solar power output dropped 18.15% year-on-year to 87.28 GWh from 106.64 GWh, whilst generation for the first five months declined 11.93% to 428.14 GWh.
