Bangladesh launches tender for 60MW solar project

It will accept bids from developers until 14 March 2019.

The Bangladesh Power Development Board (BPDB) launched a tender for a 50-60MW grid-tied solar power project in Chattogram, Bangladesh.

According to an announcement, interested developers with previous experience in grid-tied solar power projects need to submit a qualification statement and a comprehensive proposal covering the technical, commercial, and financial aspects as well as the tariff.

The sponsor will be selected through a competitive bidding process.

The project will be developed on a build, own, and operate (BOO) basis for 20 years.

The deadline for the submission of bids is on 14 March 2019.
