Thailand's B.Grimm Power buys 30MW solar farm in Cambodia

Commercial operation of the project is within October 2020.

Thailand’s B.Grimm Power, through its subsidiary B.Grimm Solar Power 1, acquired a 30MW ground-mounted solar farm in Serie Saophoan, Banteay Meanchey Province, Cambodia, a bourse filing revealed.

The solar farm is subject to a power purchase agreement (PPA) with Electricite Du Cambodge (EDC) with a term of 20 years. The scheduled commercial operation date is within October 2020.

To acquire the solar farm, B.Grimm Solar Power entered into a share purchase agreement with Pramote Laocharoenwong in order to acquire all shares of the project company, Ray Power Supply Co., Ltd. with a total share value of $300,000.

The share transfer is still in the approval process of Ministry of Mines and Energy and Cambodian authorities.
