ACME Group, IHI sign MOU to explore green hydrogen opportunities

They will study potential collaboration across the value chain.

ACME Group has signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) with Japan’s heavy-industry manufacturer IHI Corporation for the joint exploration of business opportunities in the green hydrogen sector.

In a joint statement, the parties aim to study and evaluate potential collaboration projects in the green hydrogen and ammonia value chain, including production, handling, transportation, distribution, and power generation.

Under the MOU, IHI can participate as an investor or take offtake in one or more ACME projects in Oman, Indonesia, the USA or Egypt.

They will also look into the possibility of jointly offering complete integrated solutions to customers from green ammonia supply, bunkering and products or solutions.
