BHEL to set up SPV plant in Karnataka

BHEL has secured an order worth around Rs 62 crore for setting up solar power project for Karnataka Power at Belakavadi village in Karnataka.

 

According to a company release, the deal is for setting up a grid-connected solar photo voltaic power plant of 5-MW capacity.

 Valued at nearly Rs 62 crore, the order was placed on BHEL by Karnataka Power Corporation Limited. With this order, the company is presently executing SPV-based power projects of various capacities totalling 16 MW.
