Chinese, Malaysian firms cooperate on Indonesian power plant

Pushing forward Sino-Malaysia economic cooperation.

This could be said of Chinese firm Harbin Electric's $643 million contract with Malaysia's Genting.

The 660 Megawatt coal-fired power plant in Indonesia is Harbin's first cooperation with Malaysia.

Harbin Electric, China's top power equipment maker by sales, is expected to reach $6.428 billion in over-all orders for the year.
